Tableau 

  1. Tableau is the best tool when it comes to Data Visualization whereas Power BIfocuses more on predictive modeling and reporting. 
  2. Tableau has more flexible deployment options compared to Power BI.
  3. Power BI is available only as SaaS model whereas Tableau has got both on-premises and cloud options
  4. Tableau and Power BI differs in two key capabilities in their tools in the form of visualization and data discovery depth.
